In First Year, students are introduced to the fundamentals of music through engaging songs, games, and hands-on instruments. They learn the musical staff, rhythm patterns, and solfege with hand signs while developing pitch matching and a steady beat. Students play melodies and ostinatos on tone bells and are introduced to basic chords on the autoharp, building a strong foundation for future musical growth.

In Second Year, students transfer their musical foundation to the piano, learning C position, middle C, chord notation, intervals, and improvisation. They play intervals, cadences, and scales, accompany themselves while singing, and explore harmony and contrary motion. As their skills grow, they expand their rhythm reading and note recognition, building confidence and independence at the keyboard.

In Third Year, students build on their musical foundation as they expand their piano skills through scales and cadences in five keys, varied time signatures, and classical form. They develop creativity through improvisation and transposition, and the year culminates in each student composing an original piece. Graduates reach an early intermediate level, well prepared for continued musical study.
